Haunted Places You Must Aware When Visiting Philippines

All countries around the globe have their own very special place when it comes to "CURSE" or "HAUNTED". In Philippines, there are different places which is very famous and popular when it comes to the word "HAUNTED". So, if you're plan to visit Philippines and you're looking for scary adventures, try this and come to this most haunted places.
1. BALETE DRRIVE - New Manila, Quezon City

This place is very famous for apparitions of a white lady that drives curiosity to many paranormal experts. According to them, the white lady who appears in Balete Drive is a woman who brutally raped and killed by Japanese soldiers during Word War II. Her body was just thrown on the side of the road and decomposed as the years went by. Many of the locals, especially drivers (taxi drivers) says that it's true and avoided this street at night. They say that the woman is still seeking justice and still looking for the one who killed her to take revenge.


2. TEACHER'S CAMP - Baguio City

This place is used to be a training site or a tent-city for American teachers during 1908. Many stories from other people and even from the visitors that they saw a uniform man, sounds of lady crying, white lady and a headless priest and footsteps along the hallway. But one of their most terrifying experience is when waking up in 3:00 AM, and terrified by a bloody white lady standing beside their beds. Today, some people pick this place for company meetings, seminars and trainings for its affordable fees. 


3. PINDANGAN RUINS - San Fernanado, La Union

This place is said to be haunted by the headless priest who died during World War II. Some people says that the priest is carrying his head, some says that his looking for his head and other says that his head is calling out for his body. 


4. MANILA FILM CENTER - Pasay, Manila

November 17, 1981, around 3:00AM, hundreds of people died and buried during the construction of the Manila Film Center. According to some rumors, the construction of the building is rushed by former First Lady Imelda Marcos in preparation of the first Metro Manila Film Festival for next year. Unfortunately, the ceiling of the film center collapse and killed hundreds of construction workers. It says that Imelda Marcos ordered to poured cement into the orchestra pit below burying dead workers, 2months left before the Festival and some says that other workers are still alive below. The voices, cries and moans that can be heard is said to be the angry spirits of the workers who are trapped inside and seeking for justice.


5. OZONE DISCO - corner Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City

Opened in 1991, the most popular and trendy disco spot in Quezon City at that time. But on March 18, 1996, Ozone Disco caught on fire and killed almost 162 people. Many people who lived near the area heard voices, fainted music and see some images of people dancing when night falls. Some photographs shows white, floating figures.


6. CLARK AIR BASE - Angeles City, Pampanga

Is known as Clark Air Hospital, Home Plate canteen and Clark Museum Clark Air Base during World War II and Vietnam War. Many soldiers died in war. In 1941, an air raid by Japanese that killed many people inside Home Plate Canteen during their celebration Christmas. Many paranormal activities occurred and some people heard music, voices talking and ghost of serviceman who committed suicide haunts the place. Some says many violent spirits rendered the area off limits to everyone. The most famous creepy place in the Philippines that was even featured in National Geographic’s horror docu-series “I Wouldn’t Go In There,” and even the Ghost Hunters International regarded that this is “one of the most haunted places in the world.” As of today, many people can still feel the presence of the spirits that were left behind in the Clark Air Base Hospital. 


7. STAR MALL ALABANG - Muntinlupa City

Star Mall or Metropolis Star is standing on the former site of Alabang Cemetery built by Sen. Manny Villar's grandmother-in-law Doña Manuela Aguilar Riguera, during 1990's. Many people believe that their are dead bodies in the site that never removed and now letting their presence be felt. There are stories of young couple who went to watch a movie, but when they arrived, the seats are almost full. But as the movie finish and the lights when on, they notice that they were only the ones who are inside the theater. There are also stories of some shoppers experience that their items are missing and some are replaced by other items. Shop owners hearing noises and saw things moving on their own.
